Rachel Sender is a Rotterdam-based editorial illustrator from Barcelona. Through illustration, education, and community initiatives, she explores how people connect, communicate, and make sense of the world around them.

This editorial illustration is for a publication by Gebiedsontwikkeling.nu, an initiative from the SKG (Stichting Kennis Gebiedsontwikkeling, Dutch for Foundation for Area Development Knowledge). Its mission is to promote a professional, reflective area development practice that is aimed towards a sustainable built environment.
