ThingsCon is Europe’s leading conference about the future of hardware, connected devices and Internet of Things. I was asked to illustrate the stories that came out of the workshop "Next Thing you Know" that asked participants to write short stories about the speculative frictions in the plausible near-now. I was also in charge of the layout design of the newspaper publication. Scenarios like a love story emerging through the abusive use of a drone or the trouble a blind man had to find his smart watch were fun to illustrate.
